In a heart-wrenching revelation, the Libyan Football Federation confirmed the death of several local team players due to the devastating Cyclone Daniel. This storm has inflicted unparalleled destruction, leading to the death of thousands across the nation.

Expressing their condolences on their official Facebook page, the Libyan Football Federation lamented, "We mourn the loss of our athletes, Shahin Al-Jamil, Saleh Sasi, Ayoub Sasi, and Al-Hussein Shlouf from the sporting community."
Meanwhile, the Al-Ittihad Libyan Club's social media page confirmed the demise of several Libyan team players affected by the cyclone that hit the eastern parts of the country. Among the most poignant was the discovery of the talented Shahin Al-Jamil, the striker for the Al-Tahadi Libyan Football Team based in Derna, Eastern Libya. His body was found this morning, two days after he went missing due to the floods that swept across eastern Libyan cities because of the Mediterranean cyclone 'Daniel' that hit the nation last Sunday.

Rest in peace. Pray for Libya.
