According to Transfermarkt, Barcelona leads Europe's top five leagues in offense this season with an average of 4.43 goals per game.

As the season enters a three-week international break, many teams across Europe's major leagues have already demonstrated strong offensive prowess. Transfermarkt has compiled a ranking of the most efficient attacking teams in the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1 so far this season, based on goals per game.

Top five leagues' attacking efficiency rankings this season

Barcelona ranks first. Under Hansi Flick, the team has won seven consecutive La Liga matches, scoring 31 goals during this run and averaging 4.43 goals per game, with Raphinha accounting for 12 of them. Bayern ranks second, averaging 3.50 goals per game across their first four Bundesliga matches.

Brighton & Hove Albion ranks third with an average of 3.20 goals per game after an excellent start to their first five Premier League matches. Freiburg and Inter rank fourth and fifth with an average of 3.00 goals per game each.

Serie A leaders Roma rank sixth with an average of 2.80 goals per game. FC Augsburg, Man City, Real Madrid, and Bayer Leverkusen rank seventh through tenth, respectively, with averages of 2.75, 2.60, 2.57, and 2.50 goals per game.
