Portugal national team head coach Jorge Jesus spoke with Sport TV about his feelings on his debut as coach, the team's training schedule, and player positioning within his tactical system.

Regarding his emotional reaction to the debut, Jesus said, "Emotionally, it's really different. Just hearing the national anthem, the feeling is different. But I'm used to this kind of pressure. It's part of the profession, and the words 'pressure' and 'profession' even rhyme in Portuguese. I've experienced similar situations when coaching club teams. Yes, this will be the peak of my career. Emotionally, dreaming of becoming a world champion is the highest point one can reach. I am a Portuguese person proud of my country, so it's very special."

Addressing the limited training time, Jesus stated, "We had two training sessions and one indoor session. Today we came to the field to train. We have to trust the players' intelligence and what they are capable of."

On whether Palhinha, Félix, and Ronaldo can integrate into his tactical system, Jesus commented, "Everyone has their own tactical system. As for the players I have, some might play in different positions than they do at their clubs."
