Ronaldo could face a six-month ban and a fine after abruptly leaving the Portugal national team training camp, according to The Sun.

Ronaldo served as a substitute but did not play in the match against Norway, after which he left the national team training camp.
Portugal coach Jorge Jesus, who previously worked with Ronaldo while managing Al-Nassr, admitted that he initially told the forward he would play, then changed his mind and benched him.
The controversy became public after Ronaldo left the training camp, with his sister Elma Aveiro calling for "more respect" for Ronaldo.
The former Manchester United player could now face a ban of up to six months. According to ESPN Brazil, the Portuguese Football Federation rule book states that players who leave the national team training camp, a match, or any related activity without permission could face a six-month suspension.
The penalty could also include a fine. Ronaldo's basic daily wage is £488,000, so the original report suggests he would be able to afford the fine.
The rules state: "A player duly called up, who without good reason leaves without authorization, or fails to attend a national team training session, game, or any activity related to the FPF and the national team, will be punished with a suspension ranging from one to six months; if it is a professional player, he will also be fined between 500 and 1,000 euros."
Ronaldo stated that he would explain everything "at the appropriate time," but did not want to distract his teammates as the Portugal squad prepared for their match against Denmark that night.
He had played in the match against Wales but had a difficult night, missing several excellent opportunities.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner admitted he had considered retirement after a disappointing World Cup.
