On October 1st, following controversy surrounding Ronaldo's departure from the national team, a large number of his fans "invaded" the comments section on Portugal's official social media accounts. Under a recent post on Portugal's official social media featuring female player Tatiana Pinto, many Ronaldo fans left angry comments. Several fans called for unfollowing Portugal's official account, repeatedly emphasizing Ronaldo's importance to the national team.

Portugal's official account posted: "On fire! 🏹 Tatiana Pinto scored for Juventus Women again, her 5th goal of the season."

However, under this post, which had no direct connection to Ronaldo or Portugal's men's national team, many fans shifted the conversation to Ronaldo.

One fan directly wrote: "Let's all unfollow." Another commented: "Everyone's unfollowing, right?"

Another fan wrote: "Unfollow Portugal 👏", while another declared: "Until the legend Ronaldo returns, I will keep unfollowing. ❌"

Another fan commented: "Unfollowed @portugal, done. ✅"

Another fan commented: "No Ronaldo, no Portugal."

Another comment read: "Ronaldo leaves, I leave, unfollowing."

Another user commented: "No Ronaldo, no Portugal. #unfollow"

Furthermore, one fan declared: "Ronaldo is greater than Portugal's entire history. 🐐🔥"
