Germany will host Serbia in a UEFA Nations League A Matchday 3 fixture on October 12 at 8:45 PM CET. According to Bild, Serge Gnabry will start and captain the German team.

The 28-year-old Gnabry will wear the captain's armband. The attacker has earned 61 caps for Germany, making him the most experienced player in the current squad. He came off the bench in recent matches against the Netherlands (1-1) and Greece (0-1).

Sky Germany reports that with Gnabry in the starting lineup, youngster Lennart Karl will be available as a substitute option.
