According to RMC Sport, Olise has made 29 appearances for the French national team, directly contributing to 23 goals—a record in the team's history. This year, he has also provided 10 assists for the national team, an achievement not matched by any player in over 60 years.

Olise has performed exceptionally well in his first training camp under coach Zidane with the French national team. He scored 4 goals and provided 2 assists across 4 Nations League matches against Turkey, Italy, and Belgium. London-born Olise came off the bench in Monday's match against Belgium at the Stade de France, helping France secure a 4-1 victory. Some fans have even linked his name to Ballon d'Or contention.

So far this year, Olise has directly contributed to 17 goals for the French national team. Since the start of the 21st century, only Henry in 2003 achieved a better record, directly contributing to 19 goals that year. France's next international window comes next month, with an away fixture against Italy on November 12 and a home match against Turkey on November 15.

At 29 appearances, Mbappé had scored 10 goals and provided 8 assists. Now France's all-time leading scorer and assister, Mbappé was only 20 years old at that milestone. Henry, at the same age as Olise and after 29 appearances, had scored 10 goals and provided 3 assists, directly contributing to 13 goals. Griezmann had 8 goals and 5 assists at age 25; Benzema had 9 goals and 2 assists at 22; and Giroud had 5 goals and 4 assists at 27.

Among players at 29 appearances, only Platini's statistics rival Olise's. Platini, then 25, had scored 17 goals and provided 5 assists, directly contributing to 22 goals. Zidane, at his 29th appearance for France, was also 25, with 7 goals and 8 assists. The French coach praised Olise following the comeback victory against Belgium: "What he is doing is truly outstanding."
