In the fourth round of the UEFA Nations League A, England defeated the Czech Republic 3-0 at home. Kane, who scored twice in the match, was interviewed by ITV Sport afterwards.

Harry, another win for England, but tonight was really your night. An assist and two goals—a truly brilliant performance.

Yes, it was a perfect night for me personally and for the whole team. You know, this training camp has been difficult and quite long, with some tough matches, so it's great to finish here at Wembley with a performance like this from the whole team. For me personally, it's definitely a night of immense pride.

Did your first goal in this match demonstrate the current level of confidence in the England team?

I think so. I think we saw some fantastic attacking interplay again today—our movement, our one-touch passing, Elliot Anderson's pass to Morgan Rogers, and then that direct cross was absolutely pinpoint. As a striker, facing such a pass makes you eager and always waiting for such opportunities.

Through this training camp, has the England team found a higher level of confidence and expression?

I think so. I think it started from the first game, and even though the result wasn't what we wanted, I still thought there were a lot of excellent highlights in that game, and I think we've built on that. The first training camp after a major tournament is never easy, and this time there are four games, so we have to get back into rhythm quickly, and we've done that, which is the most pleasing thing.

What did you learn about the competition for places in the squad during this training camp? Trent Alexander-Arnold is back in the England squad, and Lewis Hall is a new addition.

That's England. You know, there's always competition for every position. Once you're here, it's about taking your chance. Whatever time you get, whether it's 90 minutes or 5 minutes, you have to do your best. I think every player in the squad is showing that. Everyone wants to be part of the team, and everyone wants to start, and that will only make us stronger.

Looking forward to making a record-breaking 126th England appearance next month?

That would be great.
