According to the latest report from journalist Falk, Luis Diaz had hoped Arjen Robben would remain with the club as a rotation option, and Bayern Munich is currently monitoring the market for left-winger candidates.

The journalist reports that Bayern is aware of Luis Diaz's recent comments regarding the team potentially needing a left winger—these are not complaints but rather a candid acknowledgment of his frustration and dissatisfaction with his current performance on the pitch. Luis Diaz had hoped Arjen Robben would stay to strengthen the squad rotation, but the club ultimately loaned the player to Augsburg.

Currently, there is no suitable replacement in the squad—while some believe Alphonso Davies could fill this role, that is insufficient at the moment. Therefore, Bayern Munich is probing the transfer market. However, Bayern is not a club that regularly makes signings during the winter transfer window unless absolutely necessary.

Even then, they will only act if a perfect candidate emerges on the market at a reasonable price, which complicates the situation. Ultimately, if Bayern Munich makes any adjustments to their squad, it would likely be to strengthen the left-winger position. They have monitored various opportunities but need to find a player who truly fits the team.
