The Desert Warriors' skipper claims his side have all it takes to win the Nigeria topflight diadem

George Michael says El Kanemi Warriors have paid no attention to doubters as they look to maintain their fine form in pursuit of the Nigeria Professional Football League trophy.

The Desert Warriors dropped points in their last three matches against Wikki Tourists, Enugu Rangers and Kastina United respectively.

However, after Sunday's 2-0 win over Remo Stars which pushed the Maiduguri outfit to second on the log, the captain has warned that his side are growing in confidence.

"If you want to win titles, then you have got to go until the end, and the thing about this team at the moment is that we never give up," Michael told Goal.

"Every game that we win, the belief gets stronger and stronger. A lot of people are not giving us enough credit at the moment, but we do not mind that.

"We will just carry on with our job, keep picking up three points, and see where we are at the end of the season."

Michael kept a clean sheet for his team in the victory over the Sky Blue Stars at the El Kanemi Sports Complex on Sunday.
