The Solid Miners are only three points adrift of the top three, and the midfielder has called for more focus in their remaining matches of the campaign.

Nasarawa United's Abdulkadir Aminu believes remaining focused in the Nigeria Professional Football League will be vital if they want to finish in the top three.

The Lafia outfit are eighth in the log with 37 points and eight points behind league leaders, Plateau United.

With just 13 matches to the end of the 2017/18 season, Abdulkadir says focus is an important factor at this stage.

"To finish the season very strong we need to be focused. That's an important factor. We have to be focused as we take each match as it comes.

"A lot of teams drop points but on our side we have to make sure that we pick up points as we can.

"Our target is to finish as high as we can, especially making the top three," he concluded.
