When you decide to transfer to the Saudi League, some people accuse you of doing it just to "line your own pockets."

Reijnders: "I really can't blame them. But when you receive such a salary offer, try to refuse it. Everyone can take the moral high ground and say 'I would never do that,' but I'm very sure that most people would accept it."

That's a fair point, but you were also earning a pretty good salary at Manchester City.

Reijnders: "Of course, we're talking about a salary that's almost impossible to refuse."
