Tottenham Hotspur defender Pedro Porro is expected to be sidelined for approximately one month due to a knee tendon injury, according to The Athletic.
The 27-year-old has withdrawn from the Spain squad for the current international break and is likely to miss the team's next fixture — an away match against Manchester United on 10 October — as well as the home game nine days later against Coventry on 19 October.
There is confidence that the World Cup winner could return for the away fixture against Chelsea on 24 October.
Pedro Porro did not feature in matches against Everton and Liverpool earlier this month. In Tottenham Hotspur's home game against Aston Villa last Saturday, he departed in the 17th minute and was subsequently replaced by Archie Gray.
He had previously been called up to Luis de la Fuente's Spain squad for the international break but withdrew due to injury, with Sporting CP right-back Fresneda called up as his replacement.
Pedro Porro missed Tottenham Hotspur's opening league match against Brentford last month following an extended summer break after Spain's World Cup triumph.
