Pedri, who came off the bench against England to make his 50th national team appearance, discussed this milestone in an interview with the Spanish national team's official channel.

Pedri said: "There are many moments like this, and reaching 50 caps is a very important achievement. To be honest, I didn't expect to get here so quickly. I have difficult memories of Wembley Stadium, especially that semifinal we lost—it was a tough match."

"But returning to that stadium for my 50th appearance, and with the team getting a win, I'm very happy. It feels like my debut was just yesterday, yet so much has changed since then."
