In an interview, Ramon stated that Roma is strong and will contend for the Serie A title, and Como will try its best to trouble Internazionale.

Having joined Como from Real Madrid in September 2025, Jacopo Ramon quickly became a consistent starter for the team. In a subsequent interview, he said he has become more mature and confident: "Como's project is very ambitious, and we have high expectations. We are a strong team, and we deserve this."

Speaking about his growth, Ramon said: "When Fàbregas called me, he showed a lot of faith in me. Honestly, I didn't expect to play so quickly and so much. I've improved a lot and grown a lot."

Ramon believes that this season's Serie A competition is very fierce: "In La Liga, the title contenders are still Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Atlético Madrid. In Italy, there are six or seven teams fighting for the title, and if you include Como, I'd say eight. I think a lot of points will be dropped."

Regarding Como's upcoming match against Roma, Ramon said: "Roma is very strong and will be fighting for the Serie A title." About Internazionale, he stated: "They won very easily last year, strengthened well, and made a good start. But we will try to make things difficult for them."

Ramon stated that Como is not currently thinking too much about the title race: "The season has just begun. We will try to win every game and then see where we are at the end of the season. One step at a time." Speaking about the Champions League, he said: "We really want to play in the Champions League, which was evident in our first match against Leipzig. There are eight matches in total, we've played one, let's see how the rest go."

Referring to head coach Fàbregas, Ramon said that Fàbregas hopes to make Serie A matches more entertaining: "Cesc loves Italy very much and appreciates Italian football. He wants to promote Serie A and make the games more attractive and enjoyable to watch."

Ramon also spoke about his goal of joining the Spanish senior national team: "It's a dream. I work hard every day to get into the senior national team. The problem is, we are talking about the strongest national team in the world, and the competition is too intense." He believes that Spanish national team selection emphasizes performance: "If you play well, you get called up; age doesn't matter."

Regarding the Italian national team, Ramon said: "Italy has many excellent players, and honestly, I don't understand why they change so much when they join the national team. But I think you can rest assured—with good players in the future, Italy will be strong again."

Ramon stated that the success of Spanish youth development comes from long-term accumulation: "Children learn from an early age to play with clear ideas and an emphasis on technique. This is not a short-term effort; it has been done very well for many years." He also said that the Spanish U21 team's goal is to qualify for next summer's European Championship and strive for a podium finish to secure Olympic qualification.

Speaking about living abroad, Ramon said: "I had to step out of my comfort zone, which was good for me. I've matured and changed some habits in my daily life. I'm in good shape now." As for cooking, he laughed: "Sort of... my mom moved in with me."

Regarding the future, Ramon did not rule out the possibility of staying at Como: "I'm doing well at Como. The season has just started, I'm not thinking about anything else. We have to have an excellent season, that's all."
