According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona's member organization "Som un Clam" issued a statement on Friday, presenting six demands to the club's board of directors, hoping to give members a stronger voice in club matters. Earlier, the financial report submitted by the club was approved at the annual general assembly held on September 19.

Regarding the general assembly and financial situation, the organization stated: "The fourth consecutive online general assembly, combined with approval of a financial report showing an 18 million euro loss, causes us great concern. The club's negative net worth of 168 million euros reflects a serious problem with the club's financial position."
The organization demanded the restoration of Article 67 of the club's bylaws, stating: "Approving financial reports with accumulated losses contradicts the club's objective of maintaining a balanced net worth position."
The second demand is to hold those responsible for doubling the Camp Nou stadium construction costs accountable. The organization stated: "The responsibility of managers, suppliers, and contractors must be examined, as the board promised to charge penalties of 1 million euros per day for delays and claimed the project would be completed in record time and at the lowest cost. However, costs have increased from an expected 900 million euros to 1.8 billion euros, and construction has been delayed by more than 18 months."
Regarding seat allocation, the organization stated: "All members must be informed of their seat locations and season ticket prices at the new Camp Nou stadium by the end of this year, similar to how VIP area information was announced."
The organization also demanded the immediate restoration of children's ticket cards, allowing at least 3,000 children under 14 to attend matches; the restoration of the club's travel agency services and increased away tickets; and the immediate announcement of plans and timeline for the new Palau Blaugrana arena.
Full Statement from "Som un Clam"
The organization stated: "The new season got off to an exciting start: the team is scoring consistently, and the partial reopening of Camp Nou is highly anticipated. But as Barcelona fans and Catalans, our critical and constructive spirit keeps us focused on the club's long-term development. We at 'Som un Clam' actively listen to the voices of all FC Barcelona members and continue our efforts to build the best club in the world. We want to emphasize that enjoying the team's current good form and maintaining a critical and constructive attitude toward the current leadership are entirely compatible. In fact, this is one of the core principles of our club's democratic spirit.
The fourth consecutive online general assembly, combined with approval of a financial report showing an 18 million euro loss, causes us great concern. This means the club has posted losses for three consecutive years, with negative net worth decreasing to 168 million euros, reflecting a serious problem with the club's financial position. Members are the true owners of the club. To put members back at the center of the club's decision-making, allow them to assess the club's various departments and monitor financial performance, and ensure Barcelona remains strong on the pitch and in management, we demand the board immediately implement the following six key measures."
1. Restore Article 67 of the Club Bylaws
"We demand the restoration of this article, which was suspended by the current board, with a clear implementation date and application threshold, because approving financial reports with accumulated losses contradicts the club's objective of maintaining a balanced net worth position. If the club is truly on the path to recovery, then independent oversight of accounts is the best guarantee and will also strengthen members' confidence. This is all the more necessary, particularly since Barcelona currently has no chief executive officer."
2. Hold Those Responsible for Doubling Camp Nou Costs Accountable
"The responsibility of managers, suppliers, and contractors must be examined, as the board promised to charge penalties of 1 million euros per day for delays and claimed the project would be completed in record time and at the lowest cost. However, costs have increased from an expected 900 million euros to 1.8 billion euros, and construction has been delayed by more than 18 months."
3. Allocate Seating for Season Ticket Holders
"All members must be informed of their seat locations and season ticket prices at the new Camp Nou stadium by the end of this year, similar to how VIP area information was announced. This information cannot be delayed any further, as future revenue plans already account for it. Especially since the board recently failed to honor its promise of ticket price reductions for the Real Madrid match, this information should be announced as soon as possible."
4. Restore Children's Ticket Cards
"We demand the immediate restoration of children's ticket cards, allowing at least 3,000 children under 14 to experience the joy of watching matches live. This issue should be prioritized over promoting entertainment park projects."
5. Restore the Club's Travel Agency Services
"The club's travel agency services must be restored, and efforts must be made to ensure more tickets for away matches. This way, members and supporter associations can follow the team and support them as they achieve such an excellent start to the new season."
6. New Palau Blaugrana Arena
"The 2021 member referendum included the Palau Blaugrana arena in the 'Espai Barça' budget. The board previously misled us, but now claims the arena is not in the budget. Plans and timelines must be announced immediately to fulfill our commitments to members, especially season ticket holders for the arena."
"We, 'Som un Clam', have presented these measures to President Joan Laporta, demanding he implement them as soon as possible and take responsibility for protecting the club's assets and respecting members' rights."
