According to Corriere dello Sport, Köln forward Dallinga suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in a friendly match, effectively ending his season.

Dallinga is a Dutch forward owned by Bologna, currently on loan at Bundesliga side Köln. He sustained the injury yesterday in a friendly against Viktoria Köln, and tests confirmed a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee. At the end of the season, if Köln does not activate the purchase option, Dallinga will return to Italy.

Dallinga wrote on social media: "Unfortunately, a nightmare came true yesterday. I still can't believe what happened, and it's hard to accept, but I will do everything I can to return as quickly as possible. In the meantime, I will fully support the team and this beautiful club, hoping for a positive outcome for the season. Thank you to everyone who sent me messages; I will be back."
