Javier Tintó, a journalist for Radio Marca, claimed on a program that Mbappé was unhappy with Real Madrid for not campaigning for him to win the Ballon d'Or. Mbappé directly responded in the comments section.

In the video, journalist Javier Tintó said: "This is what I've been saying for two years: he (Mbappé) is an extremely selfish player who doesn't care about anything else. If you analyze it carefully...

According to my sources, during the week of the Madrid derby, Mbappé asked Real Madrid to fully campaign for him to win the Ballon d'Or, as that's the only thing he cares about.

But the club refused. Now I finally understand Mbappé's attitude on the field during the derby—although I cannot condone such behavior, everything makes sense now. His performance on the field was shocking; I said it on live broadcast at the time: 'Playing with ten men after a red card, and you're still strolling on the field, that's not normal.' Real Madrid played as if there were only nine men on the field. I know this is the reason he was seething with anger then.

Later, he reportedly made the same request to Zidane. But Zidane obviously could not agree, because Dembélé was also involved.

Everything that has happened since that moment is truly regrettable and pathetic."

Radio Marca captioned: Javier Tintó: "Mbappé is angry with Real Madrid because they didn't campaign for him to compete for the Ballon d'Or."

In response, Mbappé commented: "😂😂😂... Oh yeah, yeah, I also had a fight with my great-aunt."
