Ricardo Moniz has resigned as manager of Jupiler league side FC Eindhoven after just one season.

The 52-year-old has called it quits despite the fact that his current contract ran for another season in Eindhoven.

FC Eindhoven finished 11th in the Jupiler League and had a disappointing season where they failed to reach the promotion play-offs.

Ricardo Moniz has also previously managed Red Ball Salzburg, Ferencvaros, 1860 Munich and English side Notts County.
