A second-half goal from Shilky Devi was enough for India to beat Bhutan and secure their place in the semi-final of the SAFF U15 Championship at the Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu, Bhutan on Monday.

India put on a fine all-round display in what was a tightly contested affair. The Indian women rattled the bar twice once each in both halves of the game and were secure at the back to thwart away Bhutan's attempts to equalise.

Bhutan dominated possession in the early stages of the game but Kiran was faced with a big chance to score against the run of play in the 13th minute. A well-placed through ball freed the player into the box but she failed to find the net.

Kritina Devi's attempt from distance had the Bhutanese goalkeeper in a spot of bother but the post denied her the joy of a goal.
