According to Italian reporter Schira, Galatasaray has offered their star striker Icardi a 1+1 contract extension.

The 33-year-old Icardi has made 47 appearances for Galatasaray this season, including 19 starts, contributing 16 goals and 3 assists. His current contract is set to expire at the end of this month.

According to Schira, Galatasaray has submitted their first contract extension offer to Icardi, which is a 1-year contract with an option for an additional year, at an annual salary of 4.5 million euros. However, Icardi, whose previous annual salary was as high as 10 million euros, considers this offer too low.
