According to an official Inter report, Sucic has joined the team for the summer tour and is ready for the next match in Perth.

Petar, the last 12 months have been incredible for you. You joined Inter, made your Club World Cup debut, won two trophies, and represented Croatia at the World Cup. Now you are ready for the new season, how do you feel?
"Last season was fantastic, not just for me, but for the club and everyone in the team. We achieved a lot of goals and won trophies. On a personal level, I participated in two World Cups. It was an incredible experience, and I feel it will only help me become a better player. I'm really looking forward to starting the new season and can't wait to begin."
How important is it to start the new season with high-level matches against these historic opponents in Australia?
"Although it's just a friendly match, it's always great to play against one of the best teams in the world. We are also such a team, so it's always enjoyable to face such opponents, and it allows us to see where we are in this stage of preseason preparation.
The most important thing is to be ready at the start of the season. Of course, you always want to win friendly matches, but the result is not the top priority."
"This is my first time here. The weather is great, the temperature is good, not too hot. The sun is nice, and we are enjoying everything here."
Wednesday's match against Milan is just a preseason friendly, but when Milan and Internazionale meet, can fans still expect high intensity?
"Of course, we are facing our biggest rival – this is the Derby della Madonnina, so even if it's just preseason, it will definitely be a special match. It will be a high-intensity match. We are training very hard, and although the result is not the most important thing, you always want to win."
Since you've flown to the other side of the world, does it feel good to stay in one place for a week instead of constantly moving?
"It's not easy because we've been on the go, but now we're here and will stay for a few days. We need to settle down, recover, and do our best to get ready."
You just returned from the World Cup, and today your Croatian teammate Modric also arrived. You've played alongside him and against him, what makes him so special?
"Everyone knows he has been one of the best players in the world for the past 20 years, and he also won the Ballon d'Or. For us Croatians, that is the greatest achievement. We all look up to him as an idol and admire him greatly. But now he is an opponent, so when the match comes, I will try to beat him."
