Barcelona president Laporta believes Camp Nou should be the venue for the 2030 World Cup final.

Laporta spoke at an event commemorating 50 years of broadcasting Catalan football matches on Catalunya Ràdio and Cadena SER: "It should not be Casablanca or Madrid, but Camp Nou. There is no difference between Casablanca and Madrid."

Laporta hopes to establish Camp Nou as a "third option" to compete alongside Santiago Bernabéu Stadium and Grand Stade de Casablanca. He believes the new Camp Nou, with a capacity of 105,000 spectators, should be considered by FIFA. The Bernabéu hosted the 1982 World Cup final, and hosting the 2030 World Cup final at Camp Nou would further elevate Barcelona's global profile.

Laporta also discussed the controversy that arose before the match between Elche and Real Madrid, when some players wore jerseys bearing the phrase "We are all Caballas" to express support for Ceuta.

On this matter, Laporta said: "Regarding Ceuta, the club supports freedom of expression. We allow our players to make such statements."

Laporta believes that as long as related symbols do not convey messages of hatred, they should be respected. He said: "What happened at Elche should not be overlooked. This means people can naturally wave the Catalan flag, the Estelada, or the Barça flag. As long as it does not express hatred, I believe it should be respected."
