I will try to stay true to myself, remain humble, and continue to work hard." The forward, born in 2005, made these remarks during a joint interview with his brother Salvatore on Vivo Azzurro Live.

Speaking about playing for the Italian national team alongside his brother, Pio added: "The national team is the highest goal a player can pursue, a dream you've had since childhood. I heard about his call-up directly from Salvatore; he told me during a video call. This is very special, and perhaps we don't fully realize how special it is right now. We will enjoy all of this together."
