According to an official announcement from Liverpool, 18-year-old goalkeeper Matty Wright has officially signed a full professional contract with Liverpool. The young player, who joined in the summer of 2025, will continue to play for the Reds.

Wright arrived at Liverpool in the summer of 2025, joining the U18 team coached by Simon Wiles. Towards the end of last season, he made two appearances for the Reds in the U18 Premier League North. At the beginning of the new season, Wright frequently started as goalkeeper in the U18 league.

Now, he has signed the contract and will continue his journey at Liverpool.
