According to Olé, Inter has reached an agreement with Racing Club to extend Valentín Carboni's loan until the end of 2027.

Carboni's original loan was set to expire on December 31, 2026. Due to a severe right knee injury, he has made only 5 substitute appearances since returning to Argentina. The injury includes an anterior cruciate ligament tear and partial damage to the lateral collateral ligament. Extending the loan for another year will give him more time to recover.

Under the agreement, Inter will pay Racing Club $200,000 (approximately €175,000) once Carboni accumulates 4 appearances of at least 20 minutes each. This bonus was triggered on February 14 following his fourth appearance that met the minimum playing time requirement in the match against Banfield.
