Brazil defeated India 4-0 in their final friendly match during this international break, with Lino coming off the bench to score two goals.

Following Brazil's goals, both the players and spectators at Real Salt Lake Stadium were restrained in their celebrations, and the stadium was not full. The Flamengo forward explained the reason in an interview with Sportv.

Lino stated: "I think it's because of the heat. Scoring a goal is the most important thing in football, and celebrating is beautiful. But sometimes you have to conserve energy because the heat is unbearable. It's also part of a different culture. In Brazil, we're used to enthusiastic celebrations. Here it's extremely hot, and the worst part is the oppressive humidity. You can't maintain high speed all the time; high temperatures affect performance. But we handled it well and secured the victory."

The Flamengo forward came on as a substitute in the second half and scored two goals, continuing his excellent form at the club. The other two goals were scored by Estevão and Pedro, who also play for Flamengo. Lino praised his Flamengo teammates' performances.

Lino said: "Today the national team achieved an important victory. I'm happy I could contribute, and I'm also pleased with Pedro's goal; two Flamengo players scored. It shows that Flamengo players have a strong presence in the national team. It's great that we won and finished it perfectly. I dedicated my first goal to my wife, family, and parents, and my second goal to my son."

Lino replaced Vinicius, who started in all three of Brazil's matches during this break. Despite the intense competition for the position, the Flamengo player said he is not worried about his future with the national team. Lino stated: "I'll return with joy and confidence. I'll do my job well at the club. I know the competition is fierce; Vinicius is the best player in this position right now, and there are players like Rodrygo. But I believe in myself, in my hard work, and I'll keep training well at the club."
