According to Sport, Almería player Álex Sola was arrested by local police on Sunday and later released, awaiting a fast-track trial. He is accused of endangering road safety, exceeding the alcohol limit, and crashing into three parked cars on a street in Almería.

According to EFE, Almería plans to initiate disciplinary action against Sola based on internal club regulations. Although the incident occurred on his day off, the club may still penalize him for violating disciplinary standards.
The incident took place near Montserrat Avenue in Almería, close to a roundabout leading to a gas station. Sola was driving a gray BMW with a large engine when he lost control while heading towards the intermodal station, crossed the center line, and hit parked vehicles. No one was injured in the accident.
Sola was accompanied by two other people at the time and initially fled the scene on foot. Several neighbors from a nearby building filmed him returning to his vehicle to retrieve items. Sola then ran towards Calzada de Castro Street, where he was eventually stopped and arrested by police.
After being taken to the police station, Sola's breathalyzer test showed 0.76 milligrams of alcohol per liter of exhaled air. The 27-year-old from San Sebastián joined Almería this summer as a free agent from Granada.
