According to football.london, Chelsea winger Christopher Nkunku has had limited playing opportunities since joining the club this season, but the player remains calm about his current situation and is willing to patiently wait for more first-team chances.

Nkunku joined Chelsea from Sporting CP this summer, with the Blues paying approximately £40 million for his transfer. However, he has made only two appearances for Chelsea so far, accumulating 27 minutes of official playing time.
It is understood that Nkunku is aware of his current stage. As a young player who has just arrived in a new country and league, he is mentally prepared for the competitive first-team environment. Sources close to the player indicate that Nkunku remains calm and patient, believing he will eventually get more consistent playing time this season.
Chelsea's previous 0-3 loss to Brentford was Nkunku's longest appearance for the team to date. He came off the bench with less than 20 minutes remaining.
Nkunku himself has publicly expressed a similar attitude. When asked about his lack of playing time at Chelsea in an interview with A Bola, he said: "There's nothing I can do about things I can't control. These are the coach's decisions. All I can do is continue to perform at my best."
Currently, Nkunku is with the Portugal U21 national team during the international break. The team will play a 2027 U21 European Championship qualifier against Czech Republic U21 on Tuesday evening, although Portugal has already qualified for next year's main tournament. After the match, Nkunku will return to Cobham to rejoin Chelsea's preparations for Saturday's match against Bournemouth.
The report points out that Nkunku's current situation is somewhat similar to that of fellow teenager Estêvão Willian. Estêvão has played only 23 minutes in the Premier League this season and has yet to start a league match.
Previously, Brazilian media reported that Estêvão was unhappy due to a lack of opportunities under manager Enzo Maresca. However, Maresca quickly denied this claim, stating that Estêvão would play an important role in the team later this season.
Maresca said last month when discussing Estêvão: "We've had some private conversations, and those conversations should remain between us. This season will be long, and we want to have players here who are hungry, motivated, and willing to prove themselves capable of meeting challenges every day."
"Estêvão is one of them. He has always maintained a very good attitude and mentality, preparing seriously for every game, and always being ready for the team."
