According to Bild, Stuttgart's goalkeeper position remains undecided, with Hildebrand leaning towards starting Seimen.

Will Stuttgart start Fabian Bredlow or Dennis Seimen against Paderborn? Seimen is expected to return to goal after a lengthy injury layoff, but the team is still assessing whether his physical condition has fully recovered. Bild spoke with former German national team goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand on the matter.
Hildebrand stated, "This would be a difficult decision for me too. Fabi has performed well, but Dennis was originally planned as our number one goalkeeper." On his own preference, he said, "I think I would lean towards starting Dennis in goal. The team designated him as the number one before the season. Fabi is a great guy, and he has adapted well to his role as second choice."
Seimen's potential is undisputed at Stuttgart, but the match against Paderborn on Saturday may come too soon for the goalkeeper who has been sidelined for two and a half months. The fixture holds special significance for Seimen: last season, he was Paderborn's starting goalkeeper when they earned promotion to the Bundesliga. Hildebrand said, "I don't believe in coincidences. Maybe this is exactly where Dennis is meant to make his return."
Stuttgart has made a poor start to the season, with only one win in their opening four league matches, currently sitting 15th. Hildebrand believes Deniz Undav must also step up. The striker recently scored twice in a friendly against Greuther Fürth, regaining confidence after an extended goal drought.
Hildebrand said, "I played in World Cups and European Championships during my career. Afterwards, it always took me two or three months to get back into form, even if I wasn't playing at all. It will be the same for Dennis. So I am very confident that he will regain his previous form."
