According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona forward Jesus stated that Yamal possesses some of Neymar's characteristics and has a strong chance of winning the Ballon d'Or.

Jesus said: "Neymar is the most talented player I've ever played with. He can do everything with both feet. For me, he is unique, and no one can compare to him.

However, Yamal does have some of his characteristics, such as dribbling and personality. He is still very young, but he plays like a mature player, as if he were already 30 years old. He is a genius and is improving every year, becoming more and more talented."
