According to British media outlet Chronicle Live, despite Vlahovic's difficult start at Juventus, the Bianconeri cannot offload the forward early in the winter transfer window.

In the final days of the summer transfer window, Juventus signed the 24-year-old on loan from Newcastle United, but he has failed to impress under Spalletti, scoring only 1 goal from a penalty in 4 appearances. His poor performance has led Juventus management to consider other attacking options in January, and it was once speculated that he might return to England early. However, Chronicle Live states that this possibility can be ruled out because there is no clause in the contract allowing Juventus to terminate the loan early. Juventus must keep Vlahovic under contract until June 2027 and continue to pay his full salary, estimated to be over 150,000 euros per week.

Although Juventus is not obligated to make the move permanent, Newcastle United remains willing to sell the forward at the end of the season. Vlahovic's future at Newcastle is also uncertain, as Howe and his recruitment team are already scouting several forward candidates for the upcoming transfer windows. The German international joined for approximately 80 million euros this summer, but he did not want to leave Newcastle United at the time; it was the coach who persuaded him to go to Turin for more playing time. Despite constant external criticism, Vlahovic himself has tried to downplay the difficulties: "I'm in a new country, facing a new language. I still have to find an apartment and am currently living in a hotel. I'm not satisfied with my performance yet, but I want to continue improving and help the team." This summer, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund were also interested in him. Now, Vlahovic has a few months to convince Juventus, while the club is already scouting targets like Retegui, Balogun, and Raimondo to strengthen their attack.
