According to Sport, Real Betis has now fully shifted its focus to the Champions League. Just two days after their 5-2 victory over Osasuna, Manuel Pellegrini's squad trained on Tuesday at the Luis del Sol training ground, diligently preparing for their first home Champions League match of the season: a clash against Porto. The training session was relaxed, with smiles still on the players' faces from their big league win. Most importantly, there was good news regarding Antony's condition.

The Green and Whites approach this match having lost their Champions League opener 2-3 to Lille. In the league, the team also secured three points in a hard-fought encounter against Osasuna. The Navarrese side, who sacked Luis Ramis on Monday, had come back from 3-0 down to 3-2 before Isco and substitute Morante sealed the win.

The most significant physical update is Antony's positive recovery. The Brazilian player was forced off early against Osasuna due to adductor discomfort, but he completed both Monday's and Tuesday's training sessions normally. This has largely eased initial concerns, and he is expected to be in the squad for the Porto match, although a starting role is less likely given he had been playing with the injury previously.

Firpo and Ruibal will be unavailable. The Dominican full-back is still recovering from injury, while the Catalan player, though back in full training, needs more sessions with the team before being cleared to play.

Conversely, Ceballos is expected to be a major addition to the starting lineup. The Utrera native has a chance to make his first start since returning to Betis, a night that also holds special significance for Betis fans.

With Firpo and Ruibal out, Pellegrini will need to make two additional squad adjustments. Lozada is one of the main candidates, along with third-choice goalkeeper Manu González, similar to the situation in the league match against Osasuna.
