According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea has recalled Fofana and plans to sell the forward, while also monitoring Atlético Madrid striker Julián Álvarez, potentially taking action in the summer.

Chelsea has recalled forward David Datro Fofana from his loan spell and intends to sell him.

Chelsea originally signed the 23-year-old for £10 million and now hopes to recoup their investment.

Fofana scored 8 goals in 15 appearances for Karagumruk. Celtic is one of the clubs that have inquired about him.

Both Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are monitoring Atlético Madrid forward Julián Álvarez, possibly making a move in the summer.

Barcelona is reportedly also a long-term admirer of the Argentine, who joined Atlético in the summer of 2024 for a hefty fee from Manchester City.

Since joining, he has scored 40 goals in 84 appearances for the club.
