Serie B club Juve Stabia has officially announced that head coach Abate has formally left the team, with both parties terminating the contract that was originally set to run until June 2027.


Juve Stabia’s official announcement stated: “Juve Stabia announces that it has reached an agreement with head coach Abate to terminate their working relationship. Abate arrived in Castellammare di Stabia on June 19 last year and led the team to 12 wins, 19 draws, and 11 losses in the 2025/2026 season. During his tenure, he guided the Yellow and Blues to qualify for the Serie A playoffs for the second consecutive season, but the team lost to Monza away on May 19, halting their progress in the semi-final second leg.”
