According to GIVEMESPORT, Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler discussed new coach Iraola, Isak, and the Premier League title race in an interview. He believes that Iraola's coaching philosophy is a perfect fit for Liverpool, and he expects Isak to bounce back next season, while predicting Arsenal will ultimately win the Premier League title.

Speaking about Iraola taking over Liverpool, Fowler expressed his excitement about the appointment.

He said: "When I watched Bournemouth last year, I thought they were very pleasant to watch, very attacking, and their pressing in the final third was excellent. The way they played was probably the way I would want to see a team play."

Fowler also warned that Iraola will face completely different pressure after moving from Bournemouth to Liverpool.

"Coming from Bournemouth to Liverpool is certainly a bit different, and the expectations and pressure might be completely different. Hopefully, he can get off to a good start and get a good run of results. As we all know, football ultimately comes down to results, and if he can deliver results, I think many people will support him, and the team can continue to improve."

Regarding whether Iraola should be given enough time, Fowler believes the new coach needs a period of adaptation, but ultimately still needs to prove himself with results.

"Any manager coming to a club needs a little time. However, people watching football now tend to judge very quickly whether a manager can continue based on results. Iraola is no different. We all know how good he is and how well he performed last year, but ultimately it's about results."

Fowler is particularly optimistic about Isak's performance under Iraola's leadership.

He stated: "For me, probably the most exciting player to watch is Alexander-Isak. His first season as a Liverpool player probably wasn't particularly outstanding, but we know how good he is and we've seen his performances at Newcastle."

"Iraola wants the team to maintain a strong attacking stance and move the ball forward as quickly as possible. A player like Isak might be very well suited to his style of play."

Isak was affected by injuries last season, and Fowler believes pre-season training is crucial for him to regain his form.

"Yes, I'm really looking forward to it. Look, I genuinely think he's a fantastic player. I think when we saw him at Newcastle, not just any Premier League club, I think any club in the world would want him."

"He's a very good player, a very good goalscorer. For whatever reason, it didn't really happen last year. I think that probably stemmed from his pre-season, as he missed a lot of pre-season training."

"It took a while, and then we saw him gradually starting to find some form, but unfortunately, he then suffered a leg fracture. I'm delighted that he's now able to have a full pre-season because I think physically he's in great shape. He's said that himself, and it's all on record."

"As a striker, I think you need to be physically ready, you need to be in the right condition to play football. I think it's very important to get your sharpness and vibrancy back into the game, so pre-season is massive for him. He can be a game-changer."

When asked about other young Premier League players he is most excited about,

Fowler said: "I think the obvious one is the young Max-Dowman."

"Obviously, we saw how good he was last year, and he played some games for Arsenal. The playing time might not have been as much as anyone would have wanted, or as much as everyone would have wanted, but he's an exciting player."

"When you see a young player making fans sit on the edge of their seats, making them hold their breath, it's crazy, and I think we can all be excited about that, can't we? That's one of the reasons I like Rio (Rio Ngumoha) too. I really like players who can make you sit on the edge of your seat, and Rio is one of those."

As one of the top goalscorers in Premier League history, Fowler was also asked what the difference is between an ordinary striker and a top striker.

He replied: "That's a good question. I think there are many, many good strikers out there, but you'll see the difference between the top strikers, and obviously it's patience and waiting. You'll see their intelligence, like how they know their teammates."

"I think it's their alertness, what they possess, their character, their composure, but the one thing I want to highlight is, I think it's focus."

"You look at Haaland, we all know how world-class he is. He can be quiet for 80 or 90 minutes, but then suddenly he can score a goal, so that level of focus is very important."

"You need anticipation, you need that composure, you need to be a good player, your first touch also has to be good, but focus is also very important. So I think that's the main difference between a top striker and a striker in a lower league."

In the rapid-fire Q&A at the end of the interview, Fowler predicted Arsenal would win the Premier League title, tipped Haaland to win the Golden Boot, and believes Tottenham Hotspur will be the dark horse of the new season.

When asked which Premier League goal from his career he would most like to re-experience, Fowler chose his goal against Everton after returning from a broken leg. He said: "This was early in my career. I broke my leg and was out for over two months. The first game back was against Everton, and I ended up scoring the winning goal, and it was against Neville Southall, who I think is one of the greatest goalkeepers in history."

"So it wasn't just that goal, it was also my last goal in a Merseyside derby, scored in front of the standing Kop, so I can re-experience that moment again and again."

When asked to describe what Liverpool could become under Iraola in one word, Fowler simply said: "Progressive."
