Barcelona midfielder Fermín López appeared on GQ España's "10 Essentials" segment, where he revealed ten indispensable items in his life, including Tom Ford perfume reserved for special occasions, his Samoyed dog Horus, and the gold medal he won at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Fermín's List:
I'm Fermín López, and here are the 10 indispensable things in my life. I have a dog named Horus, a Samoyed. He's my companion, and I really enjoy spending time with him. He's very well-behaved.

We don't let him on the sofa or bed, and he doesn't like being on them himself. Since he was a puppy, he's been used to sleeping outside and loves cold places. He usually sleeps on the terrace. Every morning before training, I take him out for a good walk so he doesn't cause trouble at home.
Half of my phone's photo album is full of pictures of Horus. I spend a lot of time with him when I'm at home, taking photos and videos of his antics. Where I live, people often recognize me because of this dog. His fur is striking and very cute, so even if I'm wearing a hood, people still recognize me.

This is a shirt from El Campillo Football Club that I wore as a kid. It's signed by my teammates from back then, many of whom are childhood friends. It's a beautiful memento that reminds me of when I first started playing football and of those friendships. They've always supported me.
Football is a team Sport, and from childhood, we learn principles like teamwork. Whether in life or in football, these things are essential if you want to progress.
I'm truly grateful to all the teams I've played for. From El Campillo to Recreativo, Real Betis, and joining Barcelona at 13, I've met many people and teammates who helped and trusted me. They helped me become a better person and a better footballer.
Without the journey I've had, without these teams, and without the people I've met along the way, I wouldn't be where I am today. I'm eternally grateful for all their support.

This is Tom Ford perfume, my favorite. I don't use it often; I save it for important occasions. I like to smell good, so I try to find scents and styles that I like and that represent me.
Most of the time, I prefer sweeter perfumes that last longer. I think this matches my personality, as I'm a friendly and outgoing person. Perhaps a sweeter scent helps others perceive these aspects of my personality.

This is the gold medal I won at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Winning an Olympic gold medal was one of the happiest moments of my life. Not everyone can say they've achieved that.
My teammates and I accomplished something truly remarkable. Spain hadn't won a gold medal in Olympic football for a long time.
Representing your country at the Olympics is a dream in itself, and winning a gold medal is even more incredible. It was an unforgettable moment for the entire team.
The atmosphere in the Olympic Village was completely different from anything I'd experienced. You live alongside many elite athletes from other countries, and we had a wonderful time there.
Seeing athletes from other sports training was also a fantastic experience.
I still need to find the perfect place to display this medal. I've kept it at my childhood home for now, but I'll find a special spot soon. After all, it's a memento I'll treasure my whole life.

These are photos from my childhood—one with my brother, who is very important to me; another with my grandmother; and one with my parents. These are photos with the people I love most. They've always been by my side as I grew into a person and as a footballer, especially my father.
My father was always the one taking me everywhere, driving me to training. We spent so much time together. My brother stayed at home but was always very supportive, as was my mother.
And my grandmother, who is very important in my life. When I was alone at La Masia, she helped me tremendously and gave me valuable advice. She always looked after me, making sure I had everything I needed and that I was doing well. Without them and without the values they instilled in me from childhood, I wouldn't be the person I am today, nor the footballer I am today.

These are my headphones for listening to music. I can hardly go 24 hours without music. I enjoy several different genres, including flamenco, reggaeton, and trap music in different languages.

When I want to relax at home, I listen to flamenco—artists like Canelita, Los Yakis, Josué Rarújo, and Niña Pastori. When we take the bus to matches, I usually listen to Morad. His style is completely different from flamenco and helps me get in the zone. He's one of my favorite artists, so I listen to his music frequently.

This is Woody from Toy Story. I loved him as a kid; he brings back so many wonderful memories and was my favorite toy. I had a truly happy childhood. I was very happy growing up in El Campillo, Huelva, though at 13, I had to move to Barcelona. Life there was tougher initially, but I was also very happy at La Masia.
I come from a simple, humble family in a small town where everyone works hard. I believe the values my family taught me from childhood have helped me achieve everything and made me the person and player I am today.
I haven't really changed much. I'm still that easygoing person who enjoys what he's doing, humble, and very close to my family.
This has always been my nature. I think it's also helped me stay at Barcelona and in the national team, and maintain my current level.

These are my Off-White sunglasses. I wore them during the championship parade after we won the treble and paraded through Barcelona, celebrating with the fans.
That was a very significant moment for me and something I'd dreamed of achieving with Barcelona. Sometimes I wear sunglasses hoping people won't recognize me, but it's no use—they still do.
I have different styles of sunglasses—square and rounder frames. I choose based on what I'm wearing that day or which pair looks better. I like to dress well. My girlfriend also encourages me to experiment with different styles and colors, mixing things up. I try my best because it's something I already enjoy.

Sushi is also indispensable in my life; it's one of my favorite foods. If you look at my Uber Eats or Glovo orders, the vast majority are sushi. Whenever I have a cheat meal, I choose sushi.
When I'm eating at home, I usually have sushi while watching a football match or movie.
When I go to a restaurant for sushi, I usually go with my girlfriend because she loves it too.

This is my necklace with my initials on it, a gift from a friend who has his own clothing and accessories brand.
I wear this necklace often. I'm not a big jewelry collector, but I do have some pieces I like. I also often buy jewelry as gifts for my girlfriend. She loves bracelets and rings. If I see something beautiful or think she might like it, I buy it for her. That way, when she wears it, she'll think of me.
So these are my 10 essentials. I hope you enjoyed this. See you all!
