Tottenham Hotspur's goal drought spanned 492 minutes and 118 days. Their previous Premier League goal came in Matchday 38 of the previous season, when Palhinha scored in the 43rd minute to secure a 1-0 victory over Everton.

With Gallagher's goal, Tottenham Hotspur's Premier League goal drought has ended.

Gallagher's previous Premier League goal also came against Aston Villa in Matchday 35 of the previous season, when his goal helped Tottenham secure a 2-1 away victory.
