Alavés held Athletic Club to a goalless draw in La Liga Matchday 7, thanks largely to a heroic performance from goalkeeper Antonio Sivera.
The shot-stopper made six saves including a crucial penalty stop to deny Athletic all three points at San Mamés. Sivera finished with 42 touches and 24 long balls as Alavés defended resolutely to take a valuable point back to Vitoria.
