After Paris FC defeated Strasbourg, head coach Liam Rosenior addressed the abuse he received from Strasbourg fans during the match at a press conference. He stated that he fully understood what the fans were chanting and directly said: "This time it was too much."

When asked what it meant to him to beat his former club, Rosenior initially replied with a single word: "Disappointment."

He then elaborated: "I know, I understand French. I understood the context at the time, and I understood what they were saying. This time it was too much."

Reports indicate that during the match, Strasbourg fans chanted songs targeting Rosenior from the away end, which at one point caused the game to be interrupted. Rosenior said that not only did he hear these chants from the bench, but he could understand their content word for word.

Speaking about his relationship with Strasbourg, Rosenior said: "I would say that those who know me at the club know... I have always wanted the best for this club. Even now, I still wish this football club all the best."

"This is a very good football club, and many things have happened. I have always upheld the traditions of this club, and there were many reasons why I acted the way I did at the time."

However, Rosenior did not elaborate on what he meant by "many reasons," nor did he address the confrontation that occurred after the final whistle. At that moment, he turned to face the Strasbourg fans in the away end, and tensions in the stadium quickly escalated.

The report indicated that Strasbourg fans' dissatisfaction with Rosenior stemmed mainly from his departure to Chelsea mid-season, as well as the subsequent recall of Mamadou Sarr. Throughout the 90 minutes, the away fans continuously expressed their displeasure with him.

Facing these chants, Rosenior chose to describe his feelings as "disappointment" rather than "anger" after the match. Paris FC and Strasbourg are scheduled to meet again this season at the Stade de la Meinau.
