Italian commentator Trevisani stated in an appearance on Radio Mana Mana Sport that Pio Esposito is Italy's striker for the next 10 years.

Trevisani said: "Over the years, I've always heard people compare him to Camarda, and I've also heard people say he's slow, turns slowly, and only has good physicality.
