Brazil defeated India 4-0 in their final friendly of this FIFA window, with Lino coming off the bench to score two goals.

After Brazil's goals, neither the players nor fans at Real Salt Lake Stadium celebrated with much enthusiasm, and the stadium wasn't packed. The Flamengo forward explained the reason in an interview with sportv.

Lino said: "I think it's because of the heat. Scoring is the most important thing in football, and celebrating is great too. But sometimes you have to conserve your energy because the heat is unbearable. It's also a matter of different cultures. In Brazil, we're used to celebrating very passionately. Here it's very hot, and the worst part is the oppressive humidity. You can't maintain a fast pace all the time; the high temperature affects performance. But we handled it well and got the win."

The Flamengo forward came off the bench in the second half and scored two goals, continuing his good form at his club. The other two goals were scored by Estevão and Pedro Rostoli, who also play for Flamengo. Lino praised the current performances of his Flamengo teammates.

Lino said: "Today, the national team got an important win. I'm happy to have helped, and I'm also pleased with Pedro's goal—two Flamengo players on the scoresheet. It shows that Flamengo players have a strong presence in the national team. It's great that we won and finished perfectly. I dedicate my first goal to my wife, family, and parents, and my second goal to my son."

Lino came off the bench for Vinicius, who started all three of Brazil's matches during this FIFA window. Despite keen competition for his position, the Flamengo player said he's not worried about his future with the national team. Lino said: "I'll return with joy and confidence. I'll do my job well at the club. I know the competition is fierce—Vinicius is the best player in this position right now, and there are players like Rodrygo. But I believe in myself, in my hard work, and I'll keep training well at the club."
