On October 4, Portuguese Primeira Liga club Rio Ave announced that they had reached an agreement with head coach Seabra to take over first-team coaching duties.

To finalize the appointment, Rio Ave paid the termination clause stipulated in Seabra's contract with his previous club.

The 43-year-old Seabra has extensive coaching experience in Portuguese football and a strong track record in the Portuguese top flight.

Seabra has officially taken the helm at Rio Ave, beginning a new phase in his coaching career with the Vila do Conde-based club. The Portuguese coach has signed a contract with Rio Ave until 2029.

The new coaching staff will officially begin work tomorrow and will prepare the team for their next match against Nacional.
