AFC Bournemouth are reportedly unhappy that Alex Scott was allowed to feature in England's 7-0 victory against Croatia, with the midfielder expected to be out for around two months after aggravating a quad injury, according to the Evening Standard.

Scott was replaced by James Garner after 70 minutes, though there was no indication at the time that the substitution was injury-related.
It is understood that Scott played through a quad injury before the match, and despite the discomfort, delivered a highly-praised performance in his first senior start for England.
However, he returned to AFC Bournemouth on Monday morning for an injury assessment and is expected to be sidelined for two months, thus missing England's UEFA Nations League double-header against Croatia and Spain next month.
Scott remains a player of interest for Chelsea, but this injury will disrupt his season and rule him out of AFC Bournemouth's trip to Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Scott joins AFC Bournemouth striker Yoane Wissa, who underwent foot surgery in July, on the injury list.
Although Scott has made 95 appearances for AFC Bournemouth since joining from Bristol City in 2023, he has had a breakthrough year and attracted strong interest from Chelsea in the summer, when the Blues' multiple bids for the midfielder were rejected.
