On October 12, local time, Parma FC announced that player Nesta El Miftah underwent laparoscopic appendectomy due to acute appendicitis and will remain hospitalized for observation for several days.

The announcement stated that El Miftah was admitted to the University Hospital of Parma on October 11, local time, and subsequently underwent surgery for acute appendicitis.

The surgery was performed by Dr. Nicola Bussi from the General and Emergency Surgery Department of Maggiore Hospital in Parma, with assistance from the Second Anesthesia and Intensive Care Unit led by Professor Elena Vignali. Parma FC's medical team was also present.

El Miftah will remain hospitalized for observation for the next few days, followed by rehabilitation to resume competitive activities.

The club has not yet announced a specific return date.
