Galatasaray will host Barcelona in the second round of the Champions League group stage this Wednesday at 3 AM Beijing Time (11 PM CET the previous day). Ahead of the match, Torreira attended the team's press conference and spoke about his expectations for the game.

On expectations for the match

"We will face one of the best teams in the world right now. We will not change our style of play. To win, we must be at our best," he said. "We are used to this, and we have done it on Champions League nights before."

"Over the years, this team has proven that we are strong and know how to show our strength in adversity, especially against strong opponents. We hope to get a good result tonight, and the support of our fans will be crucial."

"We are highly motivated, even though sometimes in matches like this, you don't need much motivation. We believe it will be a great night, and we will bring joy to our fans."

On Barcelona's midfield

"They have the best midfield in the world. They try to control the game through possession and wear down opponents physically to create space for attacks."

On tactical adjustments

"We will prepare for this match like we do for any opponent, even if it's Barcelona. We will not change our aggressive defensive approach, and once we regain possession, we will try to create problems for them."
