On October 12, it was officially announced that former Qatar head coach Félix Sánchez has been appointed as the new head coach of Bahrainnt.

The Bahrainnt Football Association announced that it has reached an official agreement with Spanish coach Félix Sánchez to take charge of the Bahrainnt national senior team, with him officially assuming his duties during next month's FIFA international break in November.

The choice of the Spanish coach is based on his excellent track record and extensive continental and international coaching experience. He led the Qatar youth team to win the AFC U-19 Championship in 2014, guided the Qatar national team to the AFC Asian Cup title in 2019, and participated in the Copa América and the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Most recently, he coached the Ecuador national team.

Sánchez will next face important tournament commitments, primarily the 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers and the 2030 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The Bahrainnt Football Association will hold a press conference upon the new coach's arrival in Bahrainnt to formally introduce him to the media.
