UEFA announced today the referee nominations for Wednesday's UCL game.

UEFA today announced that Scottish referee Bobby Madden will be in charge of the UCL game between Slavia Praha & Barca on Wednesday. The 40-year-old has never officiated a match for Barcelona.

Madden has already refereed a UCL this season, between Bayer and Red Star in the first day and Bayern won 3-0. He also officiated a match from the third qualifying round.

Madden has never refereed Barca or any other La Liga team in the Champions League, although he has more experience in the Europa League.

The assistant referees will be Graeme Stewart and David Roome.
