Milan top Group D and are still unbeaten in the Europa League this season after this convincing 5-1 victory over Austria Wien

AC Milan put their domestic struggles to one side as they clinched a place in the last 32 of the Europa League with a 5-1 victory over Austria Wien on Thursday.

The Serie A side eased the pressure on manager Vincenzo Montella with a repeat of the 5-1 triumph in the reverse fixture back in September.

It looks as though Bonucci will clear, but the ball somehow squirms between the veteran's defender and rolls into the net.

GOAL! AC Milan equalise! Borini's cross from the right is flicked on by Silva, finding Rodríguez who is left unmarked at the back post and he has time to take a touch before slotting the ball past Pentz.

Milan are ahead! Silva scores in the Europa League, his fifth of the campaign! Rodriguez tries a low shot, it is blocked by the unmarked Silva who buries the ball into the bottom corner.

GOAL! Milan strengthen their lead! Silva nods on Rodriguez's cross to Borini who does well to keep the ball in play on the left and he picks out Cutrone in the six-yard box and he is left with a simple headed finish.

CLOSE! Bonucci releases Silva inside the Austria Wein penalty area, but his touch is heavy and a defender is able to get across and clear behind for a corner.

GOAL! A wonderful finish from Silva, he just cannot stop scoring in the Europa League! He feeds Çalhanoğlu and continues his run into the box. Çalhanoğlu dinks the ball into the danger area and finding Silva who controls the ball on the chest, is allowed to turn and somehow tucks the ball into the bottom corner of the goal.

GOAL! Cutrone completes the rout with a lovely team goal! He is released by Antonelli's clever through ball, coolly rounds Prentz before slotting into an empty net. The 19-year-old grabs a well deserved double.
