Borussia Dortmund take on Belgian side Zulte Waregem in Marbella on Monday (kick-off: 16:00 CET/15:00 GMT) for the second friendly of their Spanish winter tour.

Latest

Dortmund were made to work hard in beating Bundesliga 2 leaders Fortuna Düsseldorf in Gibraltar on Saturday, but eventually got the job done with Alexander Isak and Shinji Kagawa sealing a 2-0 win inside the final 10 minutes. England U19 star Jadon Sancho impressed on his maiden start for the first team, though he could find himself on the bench against Belgian First Division A outfit Zulte Waregem on Monday, with Christian Pulisic and Marco Reus nearing returns from shin and knee injuries respectively. Either way, new BVB coach Peter Stöger will be pleased at the increasing options at his disposal as Die Schwarzgelben look to improve upon third place when their Bundesliga campaign gets back underway against Wolfsburg next Sunday.

Waregem have endured a difficult start to their league season, and currently sit in 14th, just four points clear of the relegation place. They have scored as many goals as third-placed Anderlecht, though. Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi’s younger brother Aaron Leya Iseka is their top scorer with six, though 10 players have found the target for Francky Dury’s side thus far.
